Getting ready
I started the day with Sara and her wonderful group of girls. They used an office space of the family business to get ready in, and it worked so well! Everyone had enough room to spread out, and my personal favorite part was the big bright window light that flooded the space.
How incredible are all these greens? From the bridesmaids dresses, to Sara’s killer shoes, to the invites and more, I loved the unique olive green accents. It was the perfect color for a winter wedding.
After everyone was looking FINEEEEE, we headed to the Erie Art Museum to meet the Groom for the first look. Sara and Levi chose to keep their wedding day simple, and yet still so full of great food and lots of love from friends and family. In lieu of a formal sit down dinner, they opted for finger foods along with lots of tasty desserts. The best part, was that everyone could peruse the artwork throughout the museum.
Sara told me, ‘ We want it to feel like an evening at the gallery with all our closet family and friends.’ And that it did!
Records with custom album artwork served as their guest books. Such a wonderfully unique idea! Engagement photos by Jake Swan.
The first look
Words can’t even describe how sweet their first look was. Just moments before Levi turned around Sara surprised him with a special letter. With tears in his eyes, he read the last sentence of the letter telling him it was time to turn around. And… I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
The best thing about photos in an art gallery is all the white space! A photographers dream.
The ceremony
After finishing up our photos, it was time to head downstairs to get these two married! The ceremony was very personal, as Levi’s father married them. How sweet is that?!
It was such a beautiful night filled with lots of love and personal touches from Sara & Levi. Did I mention that Levi made that neon sign?!
A big thank you to Brett Kern for the bright dinosaur exhibit! Everyone was talk about these pieces. Not only are their super cool, they also photograph amazingly.
Sara and Levi, thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your incredible wedding day!!!
